Dr Mistry and her staff are amazingly kind, supportive, and understanding. And best of all, her treatment works! I've had occasional TMJ pain for years, but something caused it to dislocate, and after that it stayed very painful. My TMJ pain had gotten to the point where I couldn't chew rice. Physical therapy and chiropractic helped a bit, but as soon as I got my orthotic it began to improve rapidly. Three months later I'm able to eat almond, raw carrots, and other foods that were previously unthinkable. I'm told my results were faster than average, which is nice, but I would have been fine with a couple more month of treatment. The full treatment is expensive. If you have chronic pain that doesn't respond to other modalities, it is entirely worth it.

As a dentist suffering from horrible TMD for years without relief from a traditional night guard, I turned to Dr. Mistry for her expertise. I am so grateful to have found her. I was living with daily pain and causing significant damage to my teeth. Dr. Mistry spent a ton of time going over my history, symptoms, and answered all of my questions. She made sure each visit was comfortable and therapeutic. I can now say that I have ZERO jaw pain thanks to Dr. Mistry! She is exceptional and her staff, Alondra and Julie, have taken wonderful care of me every step of the way. The orthotic and therapy sessions have made a huge difference for me. I highly recommend Dr. Mistry to my patients and anyone searching for TMD relief.

I have had years of loud clicking and pain on my right side and experienced an open lock several times, but always managed to resolve it on my own. After taking a bite of food one day, and experiencing blinding pain, I noticed my bite was off, my jaw and ear were extremely sore, and I was having difficulty chewing. After visiting my dentist, who believed I had slipped a disc in my jaw, I was referred to Dr. Mistry. By the time I saw her a few weeks later, my pain and inflammation had become intense and interfered with my ability to do any daily tasks. I couldn’t turn my head, chew food, sleep, work, or drive and it was causing intense muscle spasms down my neck as well as in my face and jaw. In short, I was miserable and unable to live my life. I was so nervous, but the team at the TMJ Doc office is kind, caring and professional. Dr. Mistry is a calming presence, and an amazing doctor, who truly cares for her patients. I was recommended to see Dr. Mistry by my dentist to address my TMJ issues that came on suddenly. Their office got in touch with me very quickly and got me set up for my first appointment for evaluation. My first impression of Dr. Mistry and her staff was they were kind, professional and knowledgeable. Throughout the entire treatment process they only strengthened that impression. Dr. Mistry was very clear about the plan and what the steps would be to improve my jaw alignment and make day to day more comfortable. I always looked forward to going in for treatment and just getting to chat making the whole experience very personable while receiving excellent care. I’ve been dealing with my jaw locking and popping for 10 years. I always had to pop it to the side to fully open it. Last September my jaw locked and never unlocked so I got referred to Dr. Priya Mistry and she unlocked my jaw during my first appointment! Then after the second appointment my jaw stopped needing to be popped to the side to open and I was finally able to open it fully. It hasn’t locked up once since. At the office they are all so sweet and talk you through everything. Dr. Priya Mistry is very knowledgeable about everything to do with TMJ. I’m so happy to not have to deal with my jaw locking anymore! Definitely recommend going to Dr. Priya Mistry if you’re having TMJ problems!
